those tracks posted on mp3.com. au differ in production and mixing from one another - they survived several hdd formatting before posting - i usually stored just early versions or sometimes just demos of them on my backup cdrw - and some of them couldn't reach any pre- or post-production:) moreover, they've all walked the path from onboard soundcard mixing through soundblaster headphones mixing until now - 5 speakers [ but not 5.1 yet] live in-my-room-aloud-no-neighbours-mixing |

right - i hear people use various softs for different things. e.g. FLstudio for beats only. fine,i use FL4 for beats,melodies and structuring. i like to control a track within one sequencer and jump to a wave editor - and i'm happy with it SO FAR. is acid good for replacing FL4 ? wondering.. |

i just finished listening to all 12 tracks. my personal favourite is 'pom'. it's real nice music, compared to most of stuff people post here, but it's just too idmish for me - im currently in an anti-dim mood see. you have real good melodies, but the beats just ruin it for me (other people would like them ofcourse) - they sound too strong and agressive, although it might sound different in better quality, dunno.. |

thanx tolstoyed. some of the tracks were made with headphones. the latest ones - made with speakers. i like beats, i'm working on melodies. i preview my tracks with either winamp [eq set to dance] or wmp 9 [=with surround]. streaming changes a bit of the original sound, i agree. |

I use acid (and sometimes reason) for all my music, but since people mostly settle on one program, I wasn't suggesting you go over to Acid for making the music, it's just that Acid has the option to mix in 5.1, so if you want to mix in 5.1, you should export each track to acid, and use the mixing there.. it's pretty simple; there's a box representing the room, and you can drag the pan around in it to place the track in 5.1. |

this is a first question about this on xlt. i was wondering when it will be asked. not very much fucked up. two clans are fighting for presidentship. people are having fun on the streets, no fightings, no police terror or something. But a lot of things seem to be stupid... seems that candidate from opposition uses people on the streets, and with excellent PR makes them believe everything he says. People do not demand anything from him, they just agreed to support him. that's stupid. But now he has lost some admiration, cause he has performed some stupidities also, like talking with present government candidate, Prime-Minister, who is said to be former a criminal and so on, who is hated by the people. In a week or so re-election is planned.. |
